Last week we had Hetvi and Viral visit the studio for the second half of their Bump to Baby package. A newborn photography session with their sweet newborn princess Ella. It was a pleasure to finally meet sweet little Ella after taking Hetvis maternity images a couple of months ago.
Here is a little collage I shared on my social media from Hetvi’s maternity photography session. Hetvi was absolutely glowing and we captured such beautiful images of her before sweet Ella’s arrival. These images are going to look absolutely amazing alongside Ella’s newborn photos in her boutique fine art album.
Hetvi’s Maternity Photography Session
Ella’s Newborn Photography Session
On Monday last week, it was sweet Ella’s turn for her newborn photography session. When they walked in, the first thing I noticed was her beautiful thick and luscious hair! She was sleeping nice and soundly from the car ride over so we were able to get started right away. Ella’s mum Hetvi chose a gorgeous range of colours for Ella’s session including pinks, yellows, purples, peaches, creams and florals.
Here are our first set of the session with a stunning new floral crown made of preserved flowers from Katies Props. Ella teased us with some different expressions and even puckered up her little lips for us.
We then moved onto our bed photos. She was the cutest little bundle and the neutrals were a nice touch to her session.
Next we moved onto some bucket photos with a beautiful yellow that Hetvi picked out. Yellow is such a happy colour <3
After our yellow bucket setup we then moved onto a composite shot. I placed sweet Ella onto a Perfect Posie covered with a comfy white wool layer to place her into the below digital background from Luisa Dunn Photography. This background complements the rest of Ella’s gallery beautifully.
We then moved onto our wooden bowl prop. This prop is always a favourite as it allows us to capture all the little details of baby and various different angles.
Next we moved onto some simple beanbag shots which I love because focus is just on baby without the distraction of any props.
It was then time for our parent photos. I know Ella will love looking back at these when she is older! These photos highlight just how little she currently is and how loved by her parents.
After this Ella became a little hungry so we gave her a feed and waited for her to drift back to sleep while I showed mum and dad all the amazing images we had captured so far. Once we fell back to sleep we were able to complete this pose which mum had really wanted for the below digital backdrop.
