Session Fees

A session fee is due at the time of booking to secure your session date/time and includes: a pre-session consultation, customised session & use of props, retouching of your images, a reveal and ordering appointment, and personal wall art delivery. Your session fee does not include any prints, digital images, or products. Depending on the type of session, you may choose to do your session in studio situated in Point Cook approx 20km west of Melbourne CBD or or outdoors at one of my many beautiful locations.
Your children are only this age once – this time in your life will never come again. These images will be a part of your legacy; something you can share with your family, and something that you can enjoy in the future when you look back on them. Unlike most everything that can be purchased, portraits won’t depreciate in value – in fact, they will only get more valuable with time. My careful selection of craftsman and suppliers offer high quality, long lasting, heirloom products. I save you time and frustration by guiding you through the process of creating the images and designing art pieces to fit with the decor of your home.
Your family portraits deserve more than to just sit on a CD in a drawer. Print, share, and enjoy your images!
Most clients generally invest $1,500+ on their custom art however all inclusive collections start from $700.
* Session fee is due at the time of booking and covers the time and talent of the photographer. It does not include prints, digital images or products. Session fee is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, but can be used towards a session within a 6-month time frame.


Maternity – $100



To see your body change as you grow another little person inside you is so beautiful and is something I strongly believe every mum should have to cherish and pass down. Maternity Photography (pregnancy photography) is best completed in the third trimester between 32-36 weeks.

- 1-hour session either in studio or outdoor (within 20km of Point Cook)
- Selection of dresses and drapes for use during your Maternity Session

Newborn – $250

 

 

 

Newborn photography will capture those one-of-a-kind details of your newborn so you can remember them long after your baby has outgrown the squishy newborn stage.

 

It is recommended to have your newborn portraits taken between 6-12 days old where possible. This allows me to capture the beautifully posed and sleepy images that clients adore. It is best to book your newborn photography session while you are still pregnant to avoid disappointment.

- 2-3 hour styled studio session where we will capture a wide variety of newborn poses and parent, family, sibling images

- Use of a wide range of high quality internationally sourced props including headbands, beanies, outfits, blankets and nests/baskets/beds and other unique props

Child/Family – $100



A Child/family session is suitable for babies and children aged 3 months and older. After the newborn stage, the next best time to photograph is when baby is sitting up and able to smile, normally somewhere between 6 to 8 months of age, around their first birthday or anytime after that! Children Photography and Family Photography sessions can be taken in my home studio in Point Cook or at a nearby location. Outdoor session are recommended for children over one as it is much easier to capture natural and fun images outdoors with older children and families.

- Pre-session design consultation
- 30-45 minute studio OR outdoor session (Outdoor session takes place within two hours of sunset. Location chosen by photographer and subject to weather)
- Use of quality props (where suitable) and large selection of dresses/outfits available for girls (baby – 11 years) Select use of outfits for boys up until 1 year.
- Gallery reveal and ordering appointment after your session

Cake Smash/Family Combo – $100

 

 

What better way to celebrate your childs first birthday, than to let them loose with some delicious cake! Samira offers ultra fun (and very messy!) cake smash sessions to capture your childs first taste of cake. We will start off with some more formal portraits of your child and some family photos before we get into the messy fun!
- Pre-session design consultation
- 1-hour session (in studio OR outdoor in warmer months subject to weather)
- Choice of different colour themes/backgrounds and buntings for your cake smash
- Selection of cake smash outfits available for your use

‘My First Year’ Package – 3 SESSIONS – $400

 

 

Package to capture the most important milestones of baby's first year: Newborn, Six Months, One Year.

Each portrait session is custom designed and styled for the specific milestone.
- Pre-session consultation
- 3 separate sessions for Newborn, Sitter and One Year session/Cake Smash (Newborn 2-3 hours, Sitter 30-45 minutes, One Year 30-45 minutes)

The Experience

Sienna Skies Photography is a boutique portrait studio, which means I focus not only on capturing precious moments, but also making your session experience a fun and memorable one for the entire family. Providing my clients with top-quality service and signature heirloom products for their home is what I am passionate about. I will work along side of you every step of the way: from the pre-consultation right through to the delivery of your products after your session, I want you to feel well taken care of!

Below is a summary of the entire process, all of which is included in your session fee:

Pre-Consultation

Even before a session is booked, clients are invited to my studio to sit down and chat! This gives us a great opportunity to meet (sometimes for the first time) and get to know each other a little bit. We will talk about the session location, dates and times, wardrobe options, any questions you may have, and of course you will also get to see some of the amazing products I have on display! At the end of your consultation you will pay the session fee for your desired session (if you haven’t already). Of course, if it is difficult for you to visit prior to your session I am happy to discuss these details via phone.

Wardrobe Review

Although not required, many of my clients like to send me pictures of their wardrobe selection about a week to two weeks before the session. Wardrobe is an essential part of how your images will turn out. I will give you suggestions and make sure you are happy with your final selection to ensure that we will be able to capture the look we are aiming for during your session.

Photo Session

The main event, your time to shine! I shoot both on-location or in my studio. Session times will vary depending on the session you chose. I love to have fun at photo sessions and I’ve been known to make funny animal noises, crack jokes, and put things on my heads to get people to smile! I know it can sometimes be a little intimidating to be in front of the camera, but I’ll try my best to make it a stress-free experience for all involved. The studio is packed full of props and accessories to be used during your studio session! There are also complimentary snacks & drinks for you to enjoy, as well as a fully stocked changing station for the little ones – just in case.

Reveal & Ordering Appointment

The reveal and ordering appointment is not only my favourite part of the experience, but also my clients’. Usually about one week after your portrait session, I will invite you back to my studio for this appointment (or shortly after session by request). We will view your photos on a slideshow set to music first, and then flip through each image individually and choose your favourites! I will help you decide how to display them, and create some displays using your own photos to aid in your decision. This appointment usually takes around 60-90 minutes, therefore it is imperative that both you and your significant other are present, and that childcare is arranged if possible. I will provide some treats, and it will be a fun date!

Personal Product Delivery

The length of time between your Reveal & Ordering Appointment, to the day your products are delivered will vary. Some products take longer than others to be hand-crafted, but you will be made aware of this at the time of ordering. Anything you order will be delivered first to my door, then I will check each item personally – making sure they are up to the standards I expect. Our next step will be to set up a day and time for collection of your products.
